Job Description: To develop and oversee the implementation of marketing strategies and activities for the regional provincial units across the Western Cape geographies to grow and retain clients and assets. To be accountable for all aspects of go-to-market planning and implementation for Western Cape to position the business unit’s capabilities to internal distribution channels, staff, clients, and the external market. Job Responsibilities: Develop an in-depth understanding of the various business unit strategies, plans and objectives in order to develop marketing strategies in line with the business needs, Standard Bank Groups Marketing and Comms strategy and overall Western Cape Marketing strategy. Develop and implement marketing strategies, inclusive of a communications, public relations, marketing and digital and social media strategy, for the Consumers High Net Worth & Business Banking unit. Direct and oversee all marketing related activities and functions including direct marketing, digital and social media marketing, public relations, events, sponsorships and market research ensuring effective implementation in line with the marketing plan. Provide input into the development of new markets and propositions within the various business units to support the continued relevance of the various business units' offering. Job Requirements: A proven track record in converting organisational knowledge and target audience insights into executable communication plans, coupled with the ability to design and oversee the implementation of marketing strategies either globally or across Africa. Marketing Degree More than 8 Years’ experience in leading a Senior Marketing team in the implementation of marketing strategy for a medium to large organisation.
