Job Description: To assist with the full implementation of IFRS 17 within Standard Insurance Limited. In particular, to assist with the data preparation and transformation for IFRS 17 purposes. Job Responsibilities: To perform investigations relating to IFRS 17 reports. To perform monthly calculations of IFRS 17. Job Requirements: Knowledge of statistics. 3-year BSc or BCom with Actuarial majors Understanding of balance sheet structures and capital implications. Honours is an advantage At least 6 exemptions / actuarial exam passes Member of Actuarial Society of South Africa / Member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. Knowledge of actuarial processes and control cycle (reserving, capital modelling). Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance products. Understanding of insurance business principles.
