Job Description:
The successful candidate will be required to prepare, process and produce all documentation relating to patient administration and general administration at ward level. Provide an administrative service to ward staff. Liaison with patients on aspects of administration matters. Back-up stock control in the ward and assisting with billing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Back-up for stock controller
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- To assist with general clerical and administrative work
- To control unit assets in accordance with the approved hospital systems
- High professional standards and a commitment to your own development
- The ability to work within a team
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of a labour-intensive function
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to function within a team and meet set goal targets
- Grade 12
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
- Strong customer orientation and organizational skills
- Previous experience is essential
