Job Description: In addition to focusing on the actual models, the team is also responsible for IT solutions that support the models and end-to-end automation, e.g. databases and other modelling / data platforms, and for minimising model & other risks via appropriate governances. Job Responsibilities: Designing, implementing & maintaining appropriate IT solutions in support of the actuarial reporting function Working on projects spanning several business units Finding and implementing solutions for modeling & reporting challenges Identifying and implementing opportunities for standardisation and improved efficiency through automation or process changes Designing and maintaining databases for the management of all actuarial reporting data Training & supervising others in modeling & processes Job Requirements: Demonstrable database skills Strong analytical skills Passion for models, programming, IT & data A deadline driven and highly motivated approach Ability to work independently, as well as in a team Ability to take initiative
