Job Description:
To manage the provision of an internal administrative support service to the Legal & Compliance Unit within eThekwini Municipality.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages the acquisition of office and information technology equipment.
- Develops and trains staff.
- Manages administrative functions pertaining to departmental accommodation requirements, allocation and servicing of departmental vehicles and monitoring the departmental library.
- Manages the budget of the Administration and Support Branch.
- Manages the Units assets and the register.
Job Requirements:
- Degree (NQF Level 7) in Public Administration or Business Administration or Financial Management or equivalent.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration or Business Administration or Financial Management or equivalent.
- 6 Years relevant experience of which 2 years must be at a supervisory level.
- 7 Years relevant experience of which 3 years must be at a supervisory level.
