Job Description:

This role will be responsible for supervising, managing, or directing a team of senior specialists and specialist auditors to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards applying industry experience and specialised knowledge.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review audit and assessment findings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to team members during audits.
  • Manage the team’s delivery by allocating work according to the complexity of the audit.
  • Oversee audit processes and ensure the team adequately manages their workloads by setting targets and adjusting priorities according to volume variations.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of audits and assessments.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in a leadership role advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A bachelor’s degree in Audit, Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent NQF 7 qualification is strongly preferred.
  • Technical claims and underwriting experience advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of South African insurance regulations
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance industry auditing
