Job Description:
This role will be responsible for supervising, managing, or directing a team of senior specialists and specialist auditors to ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards applying industry experience and specialised knowledge.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review audit and assessment findings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide expertise and guidance to team members during audits.
- Manage the team’s delivery by allocating work according to the complexity of the audit.
- Oversee audit processes and ensure the team adequately manages their workloads by setting targets and adjusting priorities according to volume variations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of audits and assessments.

Job Requirements:
- Experience in a leadership role advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A bachelor’s degree in Audit, Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent NQF 7 qualification is strongly preferred.
- Technical claims and underwriting experience advantageous
- Strong knowledge of South African insurance regulations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance industry auditing
