Job Description: To provide leadership, advice, review, monitor and support timely implementation of robust risk management processes and controls across Consumer Product and Everyday Banking particularly focusing on a fit for purpose assurance model that drives and enhances effective and optimal risk management within Consumer Product. Job Responsibilities: Design and ensure execution of approved sampling techniques, testing strategies on assurance reviews. Pro-actively identify strategic risk issues within the control environment and key risk indicators, and solution these through recommending changes in controls, processes or frameworks. Plan and execute the delivery of CP assurance, focusing on quality and ensuring that delivery aligns to the Assurance Standard. Execute against the planned activities in a timely manner, and provide results of assurance work to the relevant stakeholders. Drive and develop an all-encompassing Consumer Product (CP) Assurance Plan in consultation with the management teams, enterprise risk stakeholders and other assurance providers across the all lines of defense. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the business and apply the knowledge in identifying and assessing risks and controls that will add to the assurance plan and enable efficiency within the assurance function.
