Job Description: The purpose of the Trainee Cloud Engineer role is to support the Platforms and Engineering team to build, develop and maintain the Shoprite Groups cloud infrastructure. Job Responsibilities: Monitoring cloud management and data storage services. Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices. Configuring cloud infrastructure components (networking and security services). Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security. Collaborate with the Platforms & Engineering team to evaluate and identify optimal cloud-based solutions.
