Job Description: Conduct verifications and audits on a risk profile basis, applying applicable legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and present submissions to interest and penalty committee. Plan and organise own work tasks within area of work. Take accountability for delivery of contracted work outputs within agreed parameters, quality standards and client service targets. Be informed on related acts, legislation and regulations that might impact on own work. Conduct standard (limited scope) audits to ensure compliance with the relevant acts. Be observant and engage on possible violations of regulations, policies, SOPs and standards of conduct and escalate where necessary. Job Requirements: National Diploma / Higher Certificate (NQF 6) in Auditing/Accounting/Taxation and 2 - 3 years' tax experience. Alternatively, a Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and 5 years’ tax experience.
