Job Description: Assists in on-the-job training and assist in directing the work of food service workers, students and other employees within area of assignment Job Responsibilities: Cleans kitchen, kitchen utensils and equipment; secures refrigerator and freezer Notifies supervisor of food and supplies needed. Checks in food and supplies as necessary Maintains food production records Planning and managing work orders to ensure all items of an order are finished and served at the same time Assists in the preparation of salads and desserts Grilling, cooking, and frying foods Job Requirements: Matric Attention to detail 2-4 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking Relevant qualification Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
