Job Description:
To assist with the full implementation of IFRS 17 within Standard Insurance Limited. In particular, to assist with the data preparation and transformation for IFRS 17 purposes.
Job Responsibilities:
- To perform investigations relating to IFRS 17 reports.
- To perform monthly calculations of IFRS 17.
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of statistics.
- 3-year BSc or BCom with Actuarial majors
- Understanding of balance sheet structures and capital implications.
- Honours is an advantage
- At least 6 exemptions / actuarial exam passes
- Member of Actuarial Society of South Africa / Member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
- Knowledge of actuarial processes and control cycle (reserving, capital modelling).
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance products.
- Understanding of insurance business principles.
