Credit Risk Consultant

Job Description:

This entails assessing the credit worthiness of existing/potential counterparties and deciding appropriate credit limits and deal terms in line with the Bank’s credit risk appetite.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to interpret Financial Statements
• Strong analytical skills and numeracy
• Previous experience as a decision-making Credit Officer or Analyst is beneficial
• Thorough understanding of applicable bank and lending legislation e.g., National Credit Act, Basel AIRB etc.
• Relevant qualification aligned to the role
• Risk consciousness
