Job Description: A vacancy exists for a CSSD Supervisor based at Life Bay View Private Hospital, reporting to the Theatre Unit Manager, Ansie Viljoen. The purpose of this role is to assist the Theatre Manager in managing the different processes in the CSSD department. Job Responsibilities: Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and manage the Unit workload Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the Department to ensure adherence to infection control and SHEQ policies and procedures Assist Theatre Manager to manage department’s budget, including control and maintenance of equipment and stock Assist Theatre Manager to manage CSSD staff to ensure adequate and cost effective staffing promoting co-operative working relationships and performance management Good communication/interpersonal skills Job Requirements: Flexibility related to working hours Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail Previous experience in supervising CSSD department would be highly advantageous Current registration with SANC Theatre experience required Qualified Enrolled Nurse
