Data Management Manager

Job Description:

The core purpose of the Manager: Data Management and integration is to manage credit risk data warehousing and dimensional marts. This includes the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of extraction processes for key credit risk analytics data, ensuring efficiency, quality, and ease of use.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversees Risk data warehousing and dimensional marts
• Manage and lead data analysis relating to credit risk and billing operations, ranging across the credit lifecycle, translating data into valuable information to inform business decisions and to quantify the impact of those decisions.
• Liaise with data stewards across MTN to ensure accurate credit risk data of high quality in a format that is conducive to analysis.
• Sharing of information and knowledge to the data integration team and key members across Credit Risk Analytics in order to ensure business continuity
• Manage the design, development, implementation, and monitoring data extraction processes for key credit risk analytics data, ensuring efficiency, quality, stability and ease of use

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ working experience in data configuration, data management and analytics.
• At least 1 years’ experience managing people
• Honour’s degree in Advanced Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Statistics/Risk Management advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Statistics/Risk Management or similar field
• Programming courses and qualifications/certifications will be advantageous
