Garment Technologist

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity is available in our Quality Control department. If you are passionate about garment technology and have a keen eye for detail, then this is the role for you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the sample development and sample approval process from fit samples, to pre- production and production samples
• Conduct store visits on a regular basis to assess bulk quality and provide feedback to the business
• Maintain a close relationship with suppliers, ensuring open and transparent communication throughout the product development process.
• Apply accurate Grade Rules across the product range
• Assess fabric quality and provide feedback to the buyer
• Lead fit sessions with the buyer and fit model

Job Requirements:

• Have the ability to use initiative and lead processes
• A minimum of 3 years experience In a Garment Technologist Role
• Experience in Womenswear will be advantageous
• Have a keen interest in retail, apparel and quality assurance
• Have experience in manufacturing and/or the retail environment
• Have a relevant technical qualification (Degree/ Diploma), ie Clothing Management or Fashion Design
