Job Description: Responsible for applying industrial engineering techniques in order to improve operating performance, reduce waste and delays as well as produce cost reductions and higher levels of efficiency. Job Responsibilities: Design efficient production processes to eliminate waste and make the most of every resource involved in manufacturing. Compile and manage allocated project within the data and project department. Identifying possible projects in the processing environment. The effective management of projects within the approved project timeframe and budget at Grain Field Chickens abattoir. Compile and distribute key stats to the management team. Ensure each project is completed within the allocated budget and timeline. Identifying production needs on a continues basis to ensure effectivity of production. Job Requirements: Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes and standards. A degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering or related field. Proven work experience in handling projects and managing budgets. Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 Equivalent. GBP or equivalent. At least 3 years’ relevant Industrial Engineer experience in a production plant. Knowledge of Continuous Improvement/ 20 Keys.
