Job Description: The role requires the Instructional Designer to develop training material for the Discovery Invest product according to high quality standards. The role will also involve consolidation and review of feedback gathered during evaluation of the training cycle and regular updating of training material. Job Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with relevant members of the Discovery Institute of Training teams. All work must be done accurately, comprehensively and to an acceptable quality. Maintain a working relationship with the Senior Instructional Designer on the portfolio. Develop high quality training content, training material and assessments for in-person and virtual training workshops and induction programmes under supervision of the Senior Instructional Designer to cater for the needs of specific areas. Develop storyboards (only) for digital training material, which could include online courses, videos, podcasts, infographics and animations under the supervision of the Senior Instructional Designer. Gather information about Discovery Invest in relation to key needs and requirements of the area. Job Requirements: 3-5 years of writing for either technical or creative environments. B-COM Business related degree. Instructional design experience within the financial services or insurance industry. Investment or financial planning focused qualification - advantageous Knowledge and experience working in the investments industry - advantageous Education and training qualification, specifically Design and Development - advantageous Education, training, and development experience.
