Inventory Clerk

Job Description:

Responsible to monitor and maintain current inventory within the warehouse, ensuring that inventory reflecting on our IM / WMS is physically available & vice versa.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete wall-to-wall cycle counts of warehouses within required timeframes per process
• Minimize overstocks through effective communication with leadership & inventory planning teams as well as the removal of obsolete / redundant equipment from warehouse to optimize operations
• Ensure adherence to Supply Chain housekeeping processes and procedures by meeting OLA demands by ensuring that stock control is effective and efficient
• Ensure that agreed upon customer SLA are adhered to through optimized supply chain process and principles.
• Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed according to company requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Supply Chain certificate/diploma similar qualifications will be beneficial.
• Matric
• An understanding of inventory management & warehouse management tools
• Computer Literacy (MS Office – Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint)
• 1 – 3 years of experience in logistics
• Business & financial acumen
