Senior Lecturer

Job Description:

The ability to work as part of a collaborative team is essential, noting that an individual research profile is needed for career advancement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibilities would include lecturing in quantum mechanics, computational chemistry and general chemistry at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as possibly thermodynamics, kinetics, group theory, and statistical thermodynamics.

Job Requirements:

• The required qualification is a PhD in computational chemistry , preferably with post-doctoral research experience in the field as demonstrated by publications in the international learned societies and/or leading commercial publishers.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Experience with teaching and assessing topics in undergraduate chemistry modules commensurate with the level of a Senior Lecturer is required
