Job Description: Provide legal advice and support and managing legal matters for Vodacom Group and Vodacom South Africa, with a focus on a particular project (Project Symphony), including with respect to Job Responsibilities: Competition law and other regulatory aspects; and Debt and capital markets funding; Mergers & Acquisitions (covering all aspects, including negotiating and drafting of transaction agreements, supervising due diligences, attending to merger filings and fulfilment of conditions precedent etc.); Shareholder issues, corporate activity and general corporate & commercial matters; Any litigation arising in relation to the above. Job Requirements: 10 years commercial legal experience preferably within a Legal Firm Competition law experience highly desirable (can include articles) Experience in handling mergers and acquisitions, treasury, financial and stakeholder related transactions essential B.A./B.Com. & LL.B and admitted as an Attorney / Advocate or equivalent
