Job Description:
To provide leadership and direction for the development and implementation of specific rail logistic business processes and practices ensuring an integrated, cost effective and flexible logistics solution for existing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Directs the optimization of the rail logistics processes and performance through continuous improvement initiatives and performance
- Manage people and money resources
- Manage rail logistic policies, processes, and procedures
- Ensure the implementation of a rail logistics strategy and the development of policies, procedures, and processes
Job Requirements:
- Ability to build effective relationships and delivery on expectations
- Related Minimum Experience: 7 Yrs Experience in the management/operations of a logistics function
- Strong drive to learn
- Innovative and creative
- Risk Management
- Be results and delivery focused
- Administration/Business Management at NQF7 with 360 credits
- Strategic thinking
- Qualification(s): Degree/B Tech in Logistics/ Transportation/Commerce/
