Manager: Solutions Testing

Job Description:

Responsible for establishing and maintaining a first-class quality assurance capability / software testing for the CoE.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply financial processes to ensure effective financial control and financial compliance
• Direct a professional test team dedicated to testing of newly developed or enhanced application for the CoE to provide leadership and direction to the quality assurance / software testing function in ICT and ensure that industry-standards are cultivated and supported in line with organisational-wide strategic vision and mission
• Perform operational processes to ensure that all systems are compliant to required standards
• Ensure customer service orientation to foster good customer relations between ICT and business
• Ensure governance and risk management to com0ply with relevant Municipal legislation, policies, processes and procedures for security and risk management

Job Requirements:

• 5 years’ experience in software testing / quality assurance
• ISTBQ Certification
• Project management experience
• MFMA Certification will serve as an advantage
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• A valid driver’s license
• National Diploma in ICT or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
