Job Description: The Manufacturing Executive is responsible for operating a factory (or factories) as per agreed standards and legislation. S/he leads manufacturing activities in the factory to achieve desired service levels on time. The manufacturing executive is accountable to deliver site targets following the supply chain and business strategies including targets on service, costs, productivity, quality, innovation and OSHE. Job Responsibilities: Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the delivery of an integrated supply chain benefit and strategic target achievement. Drive the implementation of improvements in operating processes and systems to optimise manufacturing efficiencies. Pursue a site long term plan, including restructuring, re-engineering and retrofitting as agreed; prioritize and plan resources development and deployment. Determine operational capacity requirements for the medium and the long term and plan required asset utilisation and capex requirements accordingly. Develop and deliver to annual budgets and financial results including targets on service, costs, productivity, quality, innovation and OSHE Identify manufacturing bottle necks and opportunities and develop solutions through collaboration with all relevant parties in the business. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, and/or production management/ food science/ supply chain management. Proficient in Food Safety and SHE 10-15 years’ relevant experience, in an executive/senior management role, in food manufacturing and packaging, BSC (Hons) Engineering (preferred) Experience in Supply Chain (Make/Technology, SHE, Quality (Essential), additionally Plan, R&D (advantageous)) FMCG experience
