Product Accountant

Job Description:

This role is responsible product accounting monthly deliverables which include reconciliations and journal entries. Product fund accounting is a process where tax fund and product level reporting is used to calculate the product level/Tax fund level cash balance and allocate investments income and notional interest accordingly. This process also calculates tax journals.

Job Responsibilities:

• The process is currently in Hyperion planning, but as part of the finance transformation there is work underway to solution for how this will be done in OneStream and this team’s inputs are critical to the solution.
• On-going engagement with Segment finance teams
• Monthly reporting and generating product fund accounts and journals.
• Process includes Cash balancing, investment and infrastructure allocations, notional interest and Tax journals.
• This area services OMLACSA and OMLAC Nam.

Job Requirements:

• Oracle Fusion, Hyperion Planning and SmartView advantageous
• Accounting or finance background with an attention to detail
• Accounting Diploma with 3-5 years’ experience
• Attention to detail.
• Appreciation for internal controls.
