Job Description: The Life Riverfield Lodge Rehabilitation unit is part of an expanding network of rehabilitation units within Life Healthcare. The post holder will report to the Clinic Manager and will be expected to provide holistic clinical services at the rehabilitation unit to all patients admitted to the rehabilitation unit. Job Responsibilities: Participate in the development and implementation of new clinical services/products. Actively participating in morbidity and mortality meetings. Promote and maintain sound and productive relationships with referral sources and stakeholders in the field of Rehabilitation. Actively participating in continuous professional development opportunities with other rehab doctors in the group. Supervise and train of university students, as required. Represent the image of the company at a professional level. Job Requirements: Specialist specialty is an advantage An MBBCH or MBChB, current registration with the HPCSA as a medical doctor Hospital-based clinical experience in acute rehabilitation, neurology, orthopaedics and/or general medicine is a requirement Current indemnity and malpractice insurance (permanent on-demand and locum positions) Experience in leading a team of professionals and successfully providing clinical supervision to professionals will be an advantage Financial acumen as well as excellent interpersonal skills are important for the position
