Job Description: The risk engineer will collect and analyse information related to property and business risk exposures in order to; quantify and determine the risk quality rating of the location, calculate loss estimates and develop risk improvement recommendations. Job Responsibilities: Develop and calculate credible maximum possible loss expectancies for a wide range of commercial and industrial occupancies. Produce a Risk Improvement Report for clients mitigating identified risk exposures, using best practice and technical knowledge. Produce technical risk engineering surveys with detailed insights on risk exposures related to business risks and interruption. Conduct on-site risk engineering surveys for a wide range of commercial and industrial occupancies. Job Requirements: Risk Management Diploma, Degree or similar (Essential) Decision making / Independent thinking (Advanced Communication skills (Verbal & Written) (Advanced) Engineering degree or similar (Essential) Problem solving (Advanced) Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
