Job Description: To provide actuarial support to the Head of Actuarial on all matters relating to financial reporting, valuation, and capital management. Job Responsibilities: Monthly and annual liability valuations are required across the life insurance portfolio, including typical IBNR and DCF techniques for the valuation of actuarial liabilities under IFRS 17. Quarterly and annual regulatory reporting and board reporting. The candidate will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of all valuation models in the valuation software. Data Analytics: to ensure that all decision making is data driven by doing the analysis of the performance of products, campaigns and initiatives; assisting the actuarial and product managers in developing future products that future proof the business Job Requirements: Effective interpersonal and communication skills Basic knowledge of life and funeral insurance products would be beneficial Experience in actuarial reporting or valuations essential Mathematical, Statistical or Actuarial degree Sound numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
