Job Description: To originate and implement Property Finance lending transactions within the Residential Sector (i.e. Affordable Housing, Conventional Sectional Title scheme, Student accommodation and Social Housing), in order to maximise sustainable revenue streams through the pursuit of profitable and innovative financing transactions; identifying cross sell opportunities to the broader Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) and developing and maintaining strong client relationships. Job Responsibilities: Manage internal stakeholder relationships by collaboration across all clusters; clear communication; agreeing on objectives and time lines and requesting stakeholder input in decision making. Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc.). Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy (e.g. Green Strategy). Build professional relationships by networking. Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank. Build sound client relationships (existing and new clients) by clear communication; regular meetings and setting clear objectives and time lines. Job Requirements: Chartered Accountant CA(SA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) 3 to 5 years’ experience in deal-making or credit role. Challenging the status quo with a view to improving the environment or internal stakeholders understanding Engaging external stakeholders to obtain buy-in for concepts and ideas Post-graduate Degree in Finance/Accounting/Property Studies/equivalent 3 to 5 years’ experience sourcing, securing new deals and establishing client relationships in Property Finance (Residential Development, Commercial and/or Corporate) industry.
