Solutions Architect

Job Description:

The Business Architect is a Business Solution Consultant in a complex customer solution environment who is an Innovator in solution designing.

Job Responsibilities:

• A Thought Leader in assisting Vodacom develop value adding and unique service offerings that create a value proposition within the Industry Vertical.
• Assist Solutions Architects (Pre-Sales Consultants) responding to RFP/tenders with vertical market related knowledge and solutions.
• As such he/she works with a virtual team in formulating solutions and design plans, considering technology, processes and business risks.
• The Business Architect is the Solution Champion inside Vodacom within Specific Industry Vertical/s.
• He/she will feed common business opportunities and challenges into Vodacom Product House and Technical
• Service Design Teams to ensure the correct market related product and services are developed for the Industry Vertical.

Job Requirements:

• IT Service Management knowledge and certification an advantage: ITIL Foundations; Prince II
• Certification and/or experience with enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks, such as TOGAF,
• Zachman an added advantage.
• 3-year Degree in IT or Engineering related field or Business (essential).
• Industry certifications, CCDA, CISSP CCDE
• Grade 12 (essential)
