Job Description: To ensure correctness and accuracy of taxpayers’ accounts, balances, and payments across all tax types to provide fast, accurate, consistent service at the minimum cost. Job Responsibilities: Plan and organise own work tasks within area of work. Investigate taxpayer accounts on the SARS core systems to ensure correctness of accounts, thereby enhancing service delivery. Communication of transactional outputs and queries in area of work according to policies and quality requirements. Prepare submissions for the waiving of interest and or penalties from taxpayers within turnaround time. Be informed on related acts, legislation and regulations that might impact on own work. Job Requirements: Higher Certificate (NQF 5) in Taxation, Accounting, Auditing, Bookkeeping or Financial management AND 2 years' experience in taxpayers accounts, balances, and payments across all tax types.
