Job Description: Arranging and preparing outgoing sample shipments (including all accompanying documentation ¿ manifests, customs invoices, etc.); Job Responsibilities: Coordinating and driving the sample and freezer reduction process within SU-IRG; Retrieval, QC and transfer of FluidX racks and legacy samples to the BMRI Biorepository for long-term storage in the Hamilton BiOS; Invoicing the SU-IRG biorepository clients; Assisting laboratory staff with QC prior to long-term storage; Importing and exporting permit application, submissions and tracking; Receiving, conducting quality control (QC) on and allocating storage for incoming sample shipments; Job Requirements: At least two years' working experience in an ISO accredited laboratory; Knowledge of ISO 15189 guidelines; At least an MSc degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Medical Sciences, or a related field; Own transport to deal with after-hours emergencies is essential; Proficiency in LIMS / freezer inventory system and sample storage; Knowledge of IATA and/or Dangerous Goods regulations.
